Assistant Volunteer Coach

Volunteers are essential for youth sports in the Athletic Division of Concord Parks & Recreation, providing coaching and team management. Assistant coaches' names must be submitted by a head coach to the athletic office to be placed on the coaching list for that coach.

Below are the steps to become an assistant coach for a youth athletics team.

Step #1

Name of assistant coach must be submitted by the head coach to the Athletic office before they can be placed on the coaching list

Step #2

Once your name has been submitted, an athletic staff member will contact you by email/phone with the next steps

Step #3

A Background check is required, and the link will be provided by the Athletic Staff when you are contacted (do not complete more than one application, as it will delay the approval process)

Step #4

Once the BG check is cleared, the Athletic Office will contact you with instructions on when to pick up your coaching badge & sign your "Coaches Conduct Form" from the office!
