Frequently Asked Questions

Find quick answers to common questions about youth athletics, adult athletics, the pool and Lake Fisher?

  • How do I register my child for a sport?

You can register online by creating an account in our system.

  • What are the days, times and locations of practices/games?

Practice information will vary depending on participant numbers.

3-4 age sessions are held on Saturdays only.

5-6 & above have practice one day during the week with games on Saturdays at various locations. Game schedules are released at the first practice.

  • We submitted a special request, will it be honored?

Our staff works hard to honor as many requests as we can in the younger age groups, however due to the high number of requests it is very hard to honor them all.

Special requests for age groups 9-10 & above are rarely honored as the teams are selected by a draft process.

  • If we don’t like our team assignment/practice schedule /game schedule can we switch teams?

Unfortunately, once rosters are created & uniforms have been ordered we cannot  move or switch players around to different teams.

  • My child is on the wait list, how will I know if a spot opens up?

The wait list is used when a program is at full capacity and is first-come, first-served. You can have your child placed on the waitlist online through your Civic Rec. account. There is no obligation, and you will not be charged for registration at that time.  If a spot opens up before the season begins, you will receive an email with a payment link to secure your spot.
